P.S. You’re right: you hadn’t read my book when you
came down. i gave it to you THEN you went on and on
about how good it was and how you respect me. right. i

the “land issues” were bullshit, and your motive lay

Let’s deal with a Meanwhile in this classic case of sociopathic dishonesty. Here the first paragraph of an email from Lisa that I’ve reproduced elsewhere, dated February 28 (2006):

I heard from Danny. Apparently you guys had a falling out. He thinks you
(we) made hundreds of thousands of dollars in land sales. I told him we
each made about $70k to $80k from the land sales, excluding the houses
(which we built and paid for and sold). That land was ours, legally,
according to the Registro, and same for when Joaquim owned it too.
Legally and morally.

According to the above email, Lisa knew (of course she knew) that the land we sold to Brian was ours legally and morally. So why didn’t she explain this to Brian, since she was traveling all over with him and investing in land with him? The obvious answer: Because truth means nothing to her (or to Brian, for that matter); what she says or does only depends on her current agenda.

Still another Meanwhile: Lisa was lying to Fowlie as well, since we made considerably more than “70k to 80k” on the land. Point being: sociopaths have no problem lying to other sociopaths with whom they are involved in dishonesty directed at a third party.

For the record, I’m archiving the documents that prove Fowlie had/has no legal claim on the land in question in the first place. Click here for the document that shows Fowlie signed over the corporation that owned the land to Alan Nelson, who in turn sold it to Joachim (mentioned above) who in turn sold it to Lisa and me. There are other reasons for Fowlie having no claim to the land, but this one will do for now.

Oh. Still another Meanwhile. Check out this email from a Pavones resident (I’ve cut it down), and my thoughts on it, which are in bold:

Whether this happened or not I do not know.

Here are my observations about Lisa followed by the incident that prompted
the thoughts.

Lisa blames other people instead of accepting the fact that she made an
error. Although this is just a subjective view, it sure fits a sociopath.

The day I purchased Casa Tigre she told me everyone in Pavones was
extremely excited that a retired teacher was moving there, and perhaps I
could help mentor their kids. I told her that I was not even close to
being a teacher and where did she get that idea. She told me you told
her, to which I immediately retorted that “Allan and I have NEVER
discussed my employment” and she said she didn’t remember who told her. This whole business is yet another example of Lisa getting caught in a lie, via a blurt; not thinking before speaking.
Juan Francisco does know my profession as I told him for the dealings on
the house if she had asked him she could have found out the truth.

Lisa does not understand my desire for a relationship where I am left the
same or better off than I was before the relationship.

She asked me to elaborate on this fact. She could not understand how
I could have relationships and end up worse off… I
explained that in one relationship I was stilled owed a considerable sum
of money, to which she replied it cost her $20k in her relationship with
you. This is a beaut, no? Lisa made the same as I did on our investment (actually, with the money she extorted from me at the end – more to come on that –she did better) – over 160k. That Lisa would claim to have lost money due to our relationship is based on the classic sociopathic maneuver to appear “the victim,” which, if it sounds familiar, was exactly her tack with Fowlie, who told Jean that he thought Lisa was “the victim” in her relationship with me. If it sounds paradoxical that a sociopath would want to appear the victim while playing a domination game (to win), it isn’t. Appearing to be the victim is a way to garner sympathy, which in turn is a way to get what you want, or to be believed in your lies.

Having pondered this discussion I realize that the reason she does
not understand my desire is that she always comes out on top in
relationships. This placed a caution sign in my intuitive feelings.

Lisa divulges intimate facts about people.

She told me that there are twelve single guys in Pavones and to take
my time before settling on anyone of them. That Lisa knows exactly how many single guys there are in Pavones is revealing. She obviously has a written list — could you remember a list of 12 people without having written the names down? In her desire to “copulate with all the males of her troop” Lisa has apparently divided them as to marital status. (She’s saving the single guys for last, since all her fuckbuddies so far are married.)
She also mentioned your bedroom skills as well as another person. As it turned out, the other person was Barry, the “dumb gringo” and “drunk” Lisa had “no interest in” (and who had “never been through front gate”). A class act, the love of my life, no?

I will be down there in a few weeks with my daughter and two of my
granddaughters. I am teaching my 14 year old granddaughter how to surf.
I will call you before I leave to see what I can do for you while I am
there. I care about you Allan, you have always been up front with me, and
I intend to be the same with you. Take care of yourself, I hope this
helps and does not cause you any chaotic feelings.
